If any of the following serious side effects occur, stop giving Prednisolone and seek emergency veterinary medical attention: an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; swelling of the lips, tongue or face; hives), increased blood pressure, or sudden weight gain. Other less serious side effects may occur. I have found Tai Chi to be an excellent exercise for me both in the early days of PMR/GCA and right through to the present when I am at 1mg. It has been of enormous benefit to my balance which was all over the place after being bedbound for several months during the first year of undiagnosed PMR. Apart from balance, it is excellent for breathing and relaxation techniques and for those little grey cells as there's quite a lot to remember! :?
