I first came to yoga some 15 years ago at a local gym – I enjoyed the physical work out but had no idea it could be anything more than that. I continued in this fashion practicing on and off at various classes and at home. Then in 2014, acting on a suspicion that there was more to it but not knowing what, I signed up for a year long Foundation course with the British Wheel of Yoga. This was a transformative year under the guidance of a fantastic teacher, Emma Lloyd. I was particularly drawn to yoga philosophy and amazed at how transferable the teachings are to life today. I wanted to know more and to share it with others so was spurred on to apply for an 18- month teacher training course with Yoga Campus.
